Supporting the next generation of leaders in Victorian dairy.
The Australian Rural Leadership Program (ARLP) is Australia’s flagship leadership development program for emerging leaders in regional, rural and remote communities.
Each year, Gardiner Foundation sponsors one Victorian dairy leader to participate in the program. Gardiner proudly supports this initiative as part of our commitment to building leadership capability across the Victorian dairy sector.
Why ARLP?
The ARLP is a 15-month immersive experience designed to grow self-awareness, leadership confidence and the ability to lead in complex, real-world situations. Participants are exposed to a diverse cohort of peers from across rural Australia and develop the skills to lead with influence, purpose and impact.
In return, participants are expected to bring their learnings back to the dairy sector, sharing insights, strengthening networks and helping shape a strong future for the industry.
Gardiner’s Impact
Since 2015, Gardiner Foundation has sponsored Victorian dairy participants to complete ARLP. Graduates have gone on to drive change in their communities, strengthen their businesses and lead at every level of the dairy value chain.
Good leadership doesn’t happen; it’s developed. And strong leaders help deliver strong outcomes for our industry and our regions.
