Gardiner Foundation is excited to share our inaugural Community Development Grants round, which will distribute $150,000 to community organisations across Victoria’s dairying regions. We invite valued members of our leadership alumni to apply to assist us in awarding an inaugural round of grants as part of a select evaluation panel. We are seeking two panel members per dairy region (Northern Vic, Southwest and Gippsland).
Victorian dairy communities are facing significant challenges, including social isolation, a digital divide, and transport limitations. These issues are eroding the social fabric and impacting the wellbeing of these communities. This year, our Community Development Grants aim to address these challenges by enhancing connectivity through various initiatives from the community.
As a grant evaluation panel member, you will play a crucial role in reviewing and assessing grant applications.
Key Details:
- Dates: up to Two half days in August/September 2025 (TBC)
- Role overview: Review and assess 10-15 grant applications, participate in an evaluation meeting
- Compensation: Sitting fees and travel expenses (if required)
